A new style of a Business Profile on mobile search has emerged with a new layout and some interesting features. So far I’ve only seen this style on mobile and only when going to a listing from the 3-pack and the local finder. ‘Years in business’ and ‘Serving location’ may appear below the star rating on this new format.

I first spotted the option to upgrade a Google My Business listing near the end of July 2020 while looking in the GMB dashboard of an HVAC contractor. The main feature of the upgrade, at the price of $50/month, is the ability to display the Google Guaranteed badge directly on a Google My Business listing (aka Business Profile). Previously, the badge could only be found on a Google Local Services ad.

Google has launched or is at least testing the ability for users to request quotes from multiple businesses on mobile search. A “Request Quotes” button may appear above the 3-pack for search queries specific to certain business categories. The category types involved that I have noticed are a few of the main categories in Local Services ads (along with house painters) but this is a Google My Business feature, not LSA.
